Tantrum 1970 Dodge Charger 1,650-hp For Sale

There are plenty of modd’ed Chargers out there, but if you want to be in the top 1%, you have to be something special. This is arguable case with the Tantrum 1970 Dodge Charger built by SpeedKore Performance in 2015.

The car is currently for sale at Fusion Luxury Motors, Chatsworth, California, with pricing on request meaning you’re going to have to part with a tasty sum to own this one. The price is going to be high, but that’s going to reflect the ridiculously high specs. and attention to detail.

At its heart the Tantrum has a 9.0L Mercury Marine V8, with two huge turbochargers going through a Tremec T-56 6 speed manual transmission and a Ford 9-inch rear end producing a massive 1,650 horsepower. Much of the body panels are formed from carbon fibre, with a solid block of aluminium milled and used for the grille. A custom chassis was built to handle all the power and includes a built-in roll cage. a custom interior gives a happy balance between the classic and modern, with heaps more carbon fibre and leather trim throughout.

The car still only has 41 miles on the clock, which means all those horses haven’t been put to full use as yet. The question is are you to the one to unleash all these horses for a good sprint?
