Sung Kang’s Ford Maverick Wins At Sema 2016

Sung Kang, best known for his part in the Fast and the Furious franchise and a team of students from Alhambra High School, California were awarded a Corporate Design Award from Ford for their vehicle design on a custom Ford Maverick.

The Ford Maverick, named ‘project underdog’ was put together with partners from Pennzoil and SEMA, features a 2.3 EcoBoost 4 cylinder from a sixth generation Mustang, prominent flared wheel arches, customised bumpers and a set of amazing looking deep dish, gold custom wheels.

The students involved in the build process didn’t just get a chance to build a cool car with a well-known actor, but they will also receive college funds when the car eventually goes for auction.
