Smokey Yunick was most commonly associated with early NASCAR racing, earning himself twice NASCAR mechanic of the year involved with winning 57 NASCAR Cup Series races and championships in 1951 and 1953. Here is the story of his infamous Chevrolet Camaro and some background to the great man.
