Mustangs have been selling in droves recently, both in the US and abroad making it arguably one of the most popular of the modern-day muscle cars.
This brings up the question of can the GT350 do the same?

The modern muscle car is bringing back those heady days of the late 60’s and early 70’s, with vehicles that approach supercar realms at affordable prices.

The modern day Shelby Mustang GT350 has a lot to live up to, not just from its present-day contenders, but from its own history.
This review over cheat sheet  goes into the intricacies of what makes the GT350 such a special car.

You have the 5.2-liter “Voodoo” V8 with a flat plane crank design. Independent suspension, an 8,250 RPM redline and 526 hp and 429 pound-feet of torque.
All the specifications to one side for a moment, the main takeaway from the review is that the modern GT350 is a fantastic brutal all rounder, fit for the track. Not only that, but having a car less civilized than the rest is its plus points. A Pony or muscle car is meant to be a raw and in your face driving experience. it’s the way of things.

Chevy and Dodge are both fielding great muscle cars, but as the review states, they may not easily knock off the GT 350 as a great all-round track car.
We hope all three makers keep pushing their cars to the limit, even if it is to show some of those European supercars a thing or two….
