The ’92 Trans Am was the last year of the third generation. This has the best 5.0 Liter engine offered with the automatic transmission. This was the biggest engine you could get in a third generation convertible. There were no 5.7 Trans Am convertibles ever authorized/produced by permission with GM. I have more pictures at jim hailey classic cars with a dot and a com. Let me also add there were no 1992 GTA convertibles offered by GM. The emblems have been added and I left them alone since they look so nice.’
