Petersen automotive Museum: Learning About Automotive History

‘To explore and present the history of the automobile and its impact on American life and culture using Los Angeles as a prime example.’

The Petersen Museum first opened on June 11th, 1994 and is unique for not only displaying classic cars to modern performance vehicles, but also to inform and educate, which is really what it’s all about when it comes to classic cars and muscle cars.

They have a range of activities from group and gallery learning, to youth and family programs, where everybody can learn at their own level not only to go away more informed, but also have a lot of fun at the same time.

The Museum is about to reopen on December 7, 2015, so check out their website for opening times and the new features they have since their upgrades.
they have different exhibitions throughout the year like the current ‘Bond cars’, Mustang Forever: 50 Years of Legend and past exhibits like cars from the movies and hot rods and customs.
