Pawn Stars Tries To Buy The Wayne’s World AMC Pacer

The 1976 AMC Pacer was hardly a groundbreaking vehicle, but that’s not really the point in this context. The vehicle was used in a comedy role, which some would say its original intent and perfectly for the 1992 movie ‘Wayne’s World’ which grossed $18.1 million during its opening weekend. To this day, this is the highest grossing Saturday Night Live spin-off.

Here we have Rick from the Pawn Stars who was tracked down the vehicle from the movie and finds the ride that Mike Myers used during shooting, has all its official credentials, but it’s not in the best of shape. The car still has things like the camera mounts from the movie in the vehicle, but the car currently doesn’t run and the present owner admits the car has been neglected over the years.

Spoilers here, but Rick eventually gets the car for $9500, presumably understanding that this is a classic movie memorabilia and with some TLC, this car could probably easily fetch double. Check out the video below, especially if you’re a fan of Wayne’s World.
