Original 1969 Plymouth Road Runner Commercial

Wyle E. Coyote and the Road Runner are timeless cartoon characters, so it’s no wonder that this commercial still strikes a chord even today.

The Plymouth Road Runner was introduced in 1968 as part of Plymouth’s intermediate setup, featuring a 383cu. or top line 440cu. V8 engines, Coyote Duster decals and the four speed manual transmission, which was usually the standard equipment.
Arguably less equipped than the GTX, the Roadrunner made for a fantastic street racer.
