My 1980 Dodge Magnum from Brazil by Ederson Canez

This is a unique readers ride all the way from Brazil featuring a 1980 Dodge Magnum.
The Dodge Magnum was essentially a Brazilian Dodge Dart with a higher level of trim. Basically, the top model in the range, a substitute for the Gran Coupe and being very popular in Brazil, with many car clubs having fans of the car.

Over to Edison to explain his great ride.

‘I bought the car two years ago. This year only had 78 units manufactured in Brazil.’

‘In Brazil, the Dodge Dart was built between 1970-1981. In 1980 and 81 the Volkswagen was produced instead, since it bought Crysler Brazil, then stopped making the Dart/Charger and Magum and used the factory to produce the VW trucks.’

‘In Brazil all Dodges left only with the V8 318 engine, interiors were different from the American models as you can see in these photos.’
