1967 was a big year in the muscle and pony car world with the roundabout releases of the Chevrolet Camaro and the Mercury Cougar.
Pontiac had to cope with something special to compete and it sure did with the Firebird.

This gorgeous example Firebird by Hugh Mcgillivray shows the Convertible/Roadster is every bit as good as it was 40+ years ago.

‘I’ve had this car since March 1986, restored it and finishing it in 1994.
Put a fresh Pontiac 400 in 2000. My son drove it to High School from 2000 to 2003(graduated 2002).
In 2004 my family bought aftermarket gauges and instrument panel and in 2005 I did a resto mod treatment, adding seats, 17″ wheels and tires, front air dam, twin hoop roll bar and tonnou cover making it a “Roadster”.
The “Bird” you see between the seats is a 69 side marker from a quarter panel and lights up.’
