Mustang and Camaro Top 2016 Car Challenge

The Chevrolet Camaro V6 and the 4 cylinder EcoBoost Mustang topped cars.com as the best muscle cars for 2016. the two vehicles were now over the rest of the muscle car fraternity, winning on traits like track performance and handling.

The eco-boost Mustang won over the Dodge Challenger and V6 powered Chevrolet Camaro in the small engined muscle car stakes, finding that the car had, ‘a winning combination of lively on-track performance and livable street manners. More agile than the Challenger and more comfortable than the Camaro, the EcoBoost Mustang took the top spot handily.’ the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS won the V8 muscle car category, winning over the Ford Mustang GT and the Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack, it was set to dominate on the track and had the best fuel economy, however, it did have poor visibility and interior quality, but the ride was the most important aspects here.

It seems that the eco-boost Mustang has plenty to offer if you want some of the DNA of a muscle car, but would rather stick with a smaller engine, while the fullbore Camaro has upped its game with performance. Whichever model you choose from the big three, today’s muscle cars provide the same fun and excitement of yesteryear, with the modern touches as good or better than the competition.
