Muscle vs Import Drag Race

This is an interesting bunch of matchups between old and new muscle cars and imports.
The event took place at Englishtown Racewaypark, New Jersey, giving a whole host of muscle cars and imports a chance to see who is best.

Without having the individual specs. of each car it’s hard to do a direct comparison, but at the very least, it’s a good bit of fun to see how tuned imports fares against some fullbore V8s.

Personally, it’s a great way to see both ends of the spectrum ways of attacking engine power in a simple drag race. No replacement for displacement vs. get the most power out of what you’ve got.. mindset.

It’s also good to see in places in the video where the imports get the initial jump on the muscle car, but the muscle cars win out in the end. As they should.
