Finding The Original Prototype Pontiac Trans Am

By  |

If you’re a fan of Pontiac or muscle cars in general, this is the video for you.

It charts the rediscovery of one of the prototype 1969 Pontiac Firebird Trans Ams created by legendary automotive designer Gene Winfield and rediscovered by car collector Curt Richards.

The story goes from the initial idea for the car and through the meticulous restoration process.
What you do come away with from this whole story is not just taking a rediscovered prototype back to its former glory, but also all the people that were emotionally attached to this vehicle and what it meant to them. From the initial people who worked on the original car, to the present-day restorers, the car obviously has a very special place in all their hearts.

As you can see, the final vehicle is breathtaking.
Definitely a video to watch all the way through.
