Muscle Cars Of The Day: Pontiac, Mustang and Buick
By Dave Ashton
Depending on where you live, we are slowly morphing into the spring months where it’s time to start enjoying the better weather and that also means taking cars out for a drive. It also means the potential time to start looking at car buys for this year.
Here we have potentials from the vintage and new muscle car realm for you to check out.
1979 Pontiac Trans Am Trans Am Y-84
Engine: 6.6L 403CU. IN. V8
Transmission: Automatic
Current bid: $27,700.00
Completely stock and all original, owned by the same person for the last 33 years. Everything seems to work here and being a Real Bandit Edition, this should definitely rise in price over the years.
2016 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R
Engine: 5.2L V8
Mileage: 19
Price: $96,300.00
This GT350R doesn’t come with much detail, apart from its production number of GR447. It has the black and red accent stripes with electronics pack featuring that naturally aspirated flat crank 5.2 L V8 engine that sounds immense.
With only 19 miles on the clock, this is a brand-new, track focused, future rarity not to be missed if you have the money.
1972 Buick Skylark GSX
Engine: 455 V8
Transmission: 400 Automatic
Mileage: 14,156
Price: $21,000.00
From one extreme to another, here is a 1972 Buick Skylark GSX which is apparently a GS with the GSX package added. Its had a complete restoration, with some nice upgrades, bringing it up to modern times like disc brakes.
Everything looks fine here, apart from the fact that it’s really a GS, which does affect its price. Maybe room for haggling here.
