Muscle Car Talk: Corvette Land

Here I am in western New York and saw place for our readers this Fourth of July. The place is called Turners and its in the little quaint town of Victor, NY.

I was driving through last night and had to stop to take this picture. I bbumped into this place, passing through and went a little out of my way to look for a ’66 or ’67 Corvette. No luck this time but as you can see the lot has many Vettes ready to go.

I have seen this place before and noticed inventory is down a bit. Most of the cars here were of the newer styles because I have seen more mid sixties Corvettes here in the past. This place has been here a very long time. They always have a great selection of not only Corvettes but they have other high performance cars as well.

I noticed on the other side of the building as I was leaving a ’70 Chevy Nova SS that looked great. Now, I heard this morning that a local lady that owns a few big dealerships in the area just bought out Turners but has no plans to change it.
As a matter of fact I heard she has plans to expand it and add a second location. Now Victor, NY is right off of I 90 , south of Rochester NY. They also have a service center here and do winter storages and consignments. They have been in business a very long time and are very well respected. So, check out Turner Automotive in Victor NY, they are easy to find. Lastly, try and make a mini vacation out of it. Victor is very close to the finger lakes and I have yet to see a prettier area in the summer. Of course there is skiing at Bristol Mountain but I dread cold weather.
