Motion Raceworks 7 Second Nova Record

Motion Raceworks decided to do something different this time with a Chevy Nova equipped with a Gen V LT4 V8 engine during Hot Rod’s Drag Week 2017. They were after a record-setting pass and this video documents the build and the run-up to the event.

With a new build and minimal data from the new engine, the record pass around the 7 second mark is great going, but the name of the game here is test and optimise on each and every pass. The engine is obviously helped by a twin 67MM precision turbos pushing 10-33psi through a promod glide transmission.
