In memory of Vic Edelbrock Jr.: Muscle Car Parts Extraordinaire

Vic Edelbrock Jr. sadly passed away on June 9, 2017, from complications from a cold at the age of 80 years old. Edelbrock Jr. arguably ushered in the after parts performance market which we take for granted today, turning the business in 1962 with 10 employees to one with hundreds of staff today.

The Edelbrock business started in 1938 with the Ford Flathead V8 ‘Slingshot Intake Manifold’ unless expanded today to offer everything from carburettors, superchargers, fuel injectors and everything you conceive of for a performance vehicle.

Edelbrock have a rich history of providing parts for Chrysler vehicles and it’s a good chance that any performance vehicle will have some sort of Edelbrock component within it.
