Jeep SRT8 vs 2016 Camaro SS Challenge

The 2016 Camaro SS, which has the same LT1 engine as the Corvette, is one powerful machine, so why not give it a race against something equally powered, but different, the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8.

The Camaro SS has 455hp and the Jeep with four-wheel-drive has a 470 hp hemi engine. On the surface, the Jeep against the Camaro is no match, but with the newer lightweight Jeep and immense engine, nothing is straightforward.

The four-wheel-drive on the Jeep is great at the start, but it’s weight of over 5,100 pounds and the Camaros performance soon catch up.

As you would expect, the Camaro wins by a few car lengths and has an incredible sounding engine, but the Jeep is surprisingly not that far behind.
