Jack Reacher – Chevelle SS Car Chase

This is a car chase scene from the movie Jack Reacher (2012), starring Tom Cruise in a rather nice 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS.

Firstly, it’s great to see modern movies still using classic muscle cars, although it doesn’t feel that way once you see the vehicle starting to get the knocks and bangs throughout the scene.
You will be happy to know that it wasn’t a genuine SS model in the scene.

The comments to the clip say that character is a terrible driver for this older style of car, but the replies say that Tom Cruise has stated that the character Jack Reacher isn’t meant to be a great driver and the driving is more from the standpoint of rage and determination to catch the bad guys.

Still, it’s great to see a classic Chevelle race around the streets.
