The Incredible 1970 Oldmobile Cutlass 442 W30

The Oldsmobile 442 was produced by Oldsmobile between 1964 and 1980.
It was originally an option package for the Cutlass model and became its own model between 1968-1971. The ‘442’ means the car has a 4 barrel carburettor, 4 speed manual transmission and a dual(2) exhaust.

George bought this car, initially looking for a Mustang for his son. This car was tucked away under a cover at the place he was looking for a Mustang. He thought at first it maybe Chevelle as it had GM rallies on the car, instead was one of his favourite vehicles, a black 1970 Oldsmobile 442.

The car was more or less instantly stolen and completely stripped, which would usually mean the end of the story for most. But this guy has tenacity. George started to build the car back up, selling other vehicles to fund the project. A replacement engine, the works, until it was finally finished and in shape you see today.
