Saline County Fairgrounds in Harrisburg was home this weekend to hundreds of cool cars, which included everything from hot rods to classic and modern day muscle cars.

From the young to the old, there was a huge turnout this past weekend to appreciate these rolling works of art. Vehicles from the 1930s to the present day were on show throughout the weekend.
“My Dad got me started. He bought a 1965 Mustang and every since then, we’ve just been. Mustangs,” said Judy Maxwell.

“I like the older Camaros to the new Camaros, so that’s my favorite,” said Kelly Parks.
“You meet some of the best people here and it just don’t matter where you go. Car people are car people. They’re the best people in the world,” said participant Eddie Payton.

One of the attendees, Mick Gottman brought along his 1972 Rally Charger, also to get the chance to walk around the hundreds of fantastic cars in the show and appreciate what they have to offer.

“I like them all,” said Gottman. “I like the old muscle cars. I do like a lot of street rods. They’re all beautiful. They all have special characteristics and it makes them special to the owners.”
