Future Collector Muscle Cars: Camaro ZL1 And Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport

Many people who have been around muscle cars for a few decades are probably kicking themselves today wishing they had snapped up one or two back in the day. Some muscle car models could have been bought for next to nothing at one point in the past, so now we have learned our lessons, it’s now time to look at today’s vehicles that could be future classics and collectables.

Hagerty have just released their hotlist of future collectable cars. Within the list Hagerty have named the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 and Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport as future collectables. The list is made up of 2017 models which means some vehicles you may have to wait quite a few years for their value to go up dramatically, but you can bet with the muscle cars, you won’t have to wait that long.

2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1
The Chevrolet Camaro has been around for decades and with such a legacy, a vehicle like the ZL1 with its current performance stats is said to be a ‘instant collector’s item.’ Current pricing is said to be $61,140.

2017 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport
The Grand Sport is rated highly for its superior performance of 0-60mph in 3.6 seconds and a 11.8 second quarter-mile time, along with having the technology and track performance to keep up with the top competitors. Just like the Camaro, the Corvette has a very long history and although not cheap at $65,450, it’s very reasonable compared to some top sports and supercars.
