Ford Release 2017 GT Specs 647HP And 216 MPH

The 2017 Ford GT has definitely been the car to watch from the company, but it’s not until now that the full specifications have been released. Now we get to see exactly what the latest incarnation can actually do.

The new GT is said to be able to deliver 647 HP and 550 lb-ft of torque with a curb weight of 3,054 pounds and a top speed of 216 mph. There are no 0-60mph or quarter-mile times, but at least the basic stats have been put out there. Initial testing of the Ford GT brought up great figures at the Calabogie Motorsports Park where the GT was tested alongside a McLaren 675LT and Ferrari 458 Speciale with the McLaren running a time of 2:10.8, the Ferrari hitting 2:12.9 and the Ford taking the lead at 2:09.8.

Although the 2017, four GT model is coming in at a whopping $400,000, it could be lining up to be the supercar of 2017. Check out the full specifications below.
