A Ford Mustang Launches in Reverse Against A Camaro

We put this video down to one of those ‘oops’ moments.
It’s easy to start pointing the finger saying all things wrong with the Mustang and its drivers, but this strikes me more as a driver with a moments lack of clarity than anything else.

You only get 18 seconds of footage here, so I’m guessing that as the cars reversed into position before the footage was shot, the Mustang guy in haste, forgot to take it out of reverse.

He tries to be warned, but the inevitable happens with a big embarrassment.
To most, this seems like such a stupid mistake to leave the car in reverse, but it just so happens to be in this case this mistake was caught on camera.

I bet the guy in the Camaro has never felt so good in a drag race. Not just leaving the other car on the start line, but it actually goes back in time.

It still doesn’t diminish the worth of the Mustang, it’s just that there are few drivers out there who still need to learn to control the things.
