Flower Muscle Car Worth $1.4 Million Stolen From Westchester

Don’t touch another man’s ride was not adhered to with this Cuda, recently stolen from Westchester County, north of New York City.

What makes this Plymouth Hemi Cuda distinctive is that it is worth $1.4 million, with a flower vinyl roof. The idea was for the ‘Mod Top’ to appeal to more female customers and is now on the ultra rare list.

The car was stolen around midnight on Monday, 25 April 2016 and due to its distinctive looks, should eventually be easy to track down or that is the hope.

“This is a work of art,” said Joe Stephenson, managing director for special investigations at Hagerty Insurance, the company that insures the Plymouth. “It’s just like a Picasso or any other valuable work of art.”

The current flowery vinyl roof is actually a reproduction of the original, but that doesn’t detract from its rarity and worth.

Original story.
