Finds Of The Day: Two For The Price Of One, 1969 GTO And A 1967 Chevelle

It’s a bit unusual for a seller to be lumping in two muscle cars together in one ad. but that’s what we seem to have here with a 1967 Chevelle and a 1968 Pontiac GTO. both cars seem to have been restored as regular drivers, but I’ve both have sat in a garage the last four years. The ad says they are being sold ‘as is’ which usually means some work is needed on each vehicle.

The 67 Chevelle is a 383 engine and is an SS clone. The 68 GTO is said to not be numbers matching, but has a GTO VIN number under a reconstruction title.

The few images provided do make the cars look very nice, but as they have been sat in a garage for four years, they now could be in any condition as no images are provided. This makes checking out the cars very hard and only an inspection in person is going to do the trick.

The ad. sounds like they want a quick sale as they say they don’t have the time to properly prep. the cars and basically want $25,000 for them both, or $15,000 if sold separately.
Both vehicles will obviously need everything draining and cleaning up before any attempt to get them driving again, but as both of them really need an inspection in person, this would be a really long shot to go out on a whim and purchase them directly from just a few images available.

The potential here is that they have been restored both mechanically, body and interior wise, but it’s the fact that no other images have been provided to give you an idea of what you’re getting.
