Find Of The Day: 1971 Dodge Dart Demon

By  |

Engine: 340.
Mileage: 75,000
Transmission: Manual
Price: US $26,500.00

You could almost say that the Dodge Dart Demon was a skin within a skin.
It was based on the Plymouth Valiant-based fastback Duster, but had a Demon 340 engine with optional hot scoops.
This one doesn’t have the blackout hood treatment and no indication it is numbers matching, but is still a fine car in great condition.

With 400 hp under the hood you still get plenty of poke and a great restoration job, so consider this car if you want an all-round classic without paying top level prices.

‘Older Restoration and still looks great, 340ci/400 hp engine, 833 4 speed manual transmission, Holley 750 cfm DP dual feed 4 bbl, Mopar Performance aluminum intake, coated headers, Mopar Performance air cleaner & valve covers, MSD, electronic ignition, power steering, front disc brakes, 4 core radiator with electric fan, bucket seats, Hurst shifter, factory dash, “tuff” wheel, tach & gauges, dual Dyno Max exhaust with chrome tips, 8 3/4 3.91 Sure Grip rear end, lots of chromed parts; alternator, brake booster, wiper motor, torsion bars, oil pan, cooling fan, coolant reservoir, and more. Interior is very clean and Demon carpeted mats.’
