tHIS 1978 Plymouth Volare comes as a tribute to Richard Petty and his race car of the day. Although it’s the only year Petty didn’t get in the winning line up, this example ride is in great condition, with low mileage and heaps to offer.

The two tone paint job finishes off the car nicely and has cool looking wide wheel flares, with a few non-functional added extras like fake hood pins to finish off the look. The original 43 decals are still in the trunk and the car comes with the original window sticker, ‘advance dealer shipping notice, dealer pre-delivery inspection, owner’s manual, and sales brochure.’

The ad. does highlight the deficiencies in the exterior, saying there are a few ‘dings’ here and there, with the muffler needing replacing the body panels are as straight as you would expect from a late 70s vehicle. The interior looks in great shape as does the engine bay, with the car said to be driven from time to time to keep in working order.

A 1978 Plymouth Volare may not be the most collectable of muscle cars out there, but if you’re looking for a vintage ride in great condition and at a great price this one may be worth considering.
