Find of The Day: 1970 Plymouth Superbird V-Code

This is an interesting example of a Superbird, not just because of its rarity, but also it is an unrestored survivor which has been in storage since 1982.
You get plenty of information here about its back history, current condition and documentation that comes with the car.
Being only 1 of 408 V code cars, it is a surefire rarity, especially being restored and in great condition.
It seems the present engine is a replacement 440, but the present owner does have the original matching numbers block and engine parts.
The car has also a new fuel tank.
As it’s completely original, it seems some work is needed on the brakes and the headliner.
Also, it seems the car had a repaint in 1981, but only to the exterior. The inner doors and the underside of the trunk are as original.
The trunk pan was also replaced in 1981 as with the passenger side lower quarter panel. The ad. also says that the driver side has an area of rust that needs repair.
In total, this is a rare Superbird with a replacement engine, but does come with the original engine block. It does require some work to get it into show condition, but being such a rarity and a Superbird it is definitely worth the price.
