Here we have a bruised and battered 1970 Dodge Super Bee which is at a buy it now price of $8,200 with just over five days to go on the listing on eBay. The car apparently has a clear Texas title and is said to have the numbers matching powertrain. The listing says that the engine did work at one time, but the images show the powertrain is no longer in the vehicle.
The exterior of the car is as you would expect from a barn find level vehicle. Most of the panels are intact, but once you look closely at the images, there seems to be deep lying rust in places which more than likely goes down to the frame.
The engine is currently in bits and it looks like some of those are in the trunk, along with other parts. The interior looks relatively intact apart from missing carpets and some of the electrics. But at least this shows the level of rust on the interior.
Clearly this Super Bee needs completely stripping down with a full restoration, but when you consider 1970’s versions with matching numbers powertrains can go for anything from $30,000, it may be worth just shortlisting this vehicle.
