Finally Being Allowed To Break In A Corvette Z06

This video does feature a lot of self promotion, but the main point here is about the break-in period of any new car, not just a brand-new Corvette.

Any brand-new car or one that’s had a new engine fitted needs time to ‘break’ in. A period of 500 miles+ where you don’t exceed over 4000 rpm. It’s just a safety precaution to make sure the engine is working fine. Once the engine has settled in, then than the fun can begin.

This video shows a Corvette Z06 just hitting the break in period point and then some nifty bits of acceleration as anybody would do having had to drive sedately for the first 500 miles.
