Fast Muscle Milk Truck: The Divco

Ever since I was a kid I wanted a Divco. I was in awe of the milkman driving while standing up. Well, he really was leaning against a padded seat but he was basically upright.
Divco is just on a long list of names that built trucks or vans for milk delivery or some kind of work truck. Yes, every time I see one I still want one but have no clue what to do with it until now.
Now, here comes the Divco’s and the smart guys are dropping big engines in them and making them street rods. I guess I was ahead of my time but never thought about a monster street engine. I just thought I would putt around town at a speed of 35mph and have no purpose other than to show it at local events. I bookmark several pages devoted to these vehicles just to see what the trend is and how they are doing. Is it still on my radar.
No. I admit I moved on but I do feel I would have been on the front side for once.
Like any old quirky vehicle, these have shot up in price and what was once easy to obtain now requires a kings ransom.
So, for all you Divco people keep the fire burning and rebuild them. I hate to see any vehicle crushed.
