A Fantastic 1971 Buick Riviera
By David Ashton
This Buick Riviera comes with a nice bit of back history to start off the listing.
The car was originally built in Flint, Michigan, which was then purchased by a gentleman at Tom Mitchell Buick on 3260 Peachtree Street, Atlanta, Georgia.
He then relocated to Oskaloosa, Iowa, started a company then stored the Riviera in a climate controlled warehouse ever since. The car then passed on to its present owner.
Everything on this car seems to be original and never rebuilt. It has the original 455 V8 engine with Quadrajet 4-barrel carburetor.
The present owner seems to have replaced a few parts here and there to keep the car reliable, but apart from that, everything seems original.
The car even has its original shocks, so it drives like it did in 1971. the car also seems to have been serviced regularly to keep it in tiptop shape.
The only thing that looks a bit used on this car is the engine, but you would expect this from a completely original motor.
The car comes with all its original documentation and sounds like a genuine sale.
For the asking price and what you get for the money, this is definitely a great happy medium between a luxury car and muscle.
Definitely worth checking out.
