Fans Celebrate Mustang Birthday By Sending Car Into Space!

A bunch of friends from Stockton, CA decided to celebrate the 50th birthday of the Mustang by sending one into space, filming its assent and final plummet back to Earth.

To all mustang fans, a GT3500R or the like wasn’t used, but a model version of the Mustang which was filmed on a GoPro Hero. Some sort of weather balloon or similar was used and the short video is a fantastic clip not only the scenery, but also the amazing descent back to Earth.

The video is a few years old now but still makes fantastic viewing.
