Dodge Puts 500 Million HorsePower On Our Roads With Dodge Power Dollars

Dodge have recently hit an unorthodox landmark with their Dodge Power Dollars program, laying down 500 million horsepower in the process. The guide of $10 per horsepower cash allowance on 2019 Challengers, Chargers and Durangos has been such a success that they have hit their targets two months ahead of schedule.

‘Dodge Power Dollars’ has more than exceeded our expectations, giving a huge boost to Dodge performance across the country and helping us reach our goal of putting a half billion horsepower into the hands of our loyal enthusiast by the end of the year,’ said Tim Kuniskis, Global Head of Alfa Romeo and Head of Passenger Cars.

The programme has definitely pushed sales forward for the brand, with the Dodge Challenger hitting a record amount in the third quarter of 2019. Also, the Charger hasn’t done too badly, being the bestselling full-sized sedan in North America and hit its highest sales this third quarter in 13 years. As for the Durango SRT, it’s not done too badly with a 60% increase in sales and set to be the best year since 2005.

The Dodge Power dollars programme ended in October 2019 for this year models. But, if you find a 2019 Dodge in your local dealers, then they will honor the Power Dollars promotion until Jan. 2, 2020.
