The Dodge Demon with its record-setting stats. specially optimised for the dragstrip should be able to walk over a Honda Civic. However, when it comes to hitting the quarter or eighth mile no vehicle is as it says straight from the factory. All vehicles are heavily modified and in many cases you were similarities to a factory version is the outer shell.

This is definitely the case in this lineup. The Civic is highly modified and the HP lineup of 840 and 860 seems close, but the Demon weighs far more than the Civic by a good few hundred pounds at the least. So, the takeaway here is that a regular car can be modified up to match an off-the-shelf ultra-powerful vehicle like the Dodge Demon, but it’s still interesting to see what both vehicles can do in one of these head-to-head races.
