Corvette Comments By Ken Lingenfelter: Woodward Dream Cruise 2015

Started in August 1995 as a fundraiser, the Woodward dream Cruise has become one of the world’s largest car events, drawing 1.5 million people and over 40,000 classic cars each year from around the world.

One of the biggest turnouts will be from the Corvette clan (can you say Corvette clan?)
Detroitnews.com Spoke with the legendary car tuner Ken Lingenfelter about his array of Corvettes and the legacy of the Chevrolet muscle cars.

“General Motors is riding high on the Corvette now,” said car guy Ken Lingenfelter, owner of the Lingenfelter Collection and Lingenfelter Performance Engineering. “The car is so desirable.”
Ken owns 75 Corvettes, including the inventor of the Z06, Arkus-Duntov’s development car from 1955.
“Corvette people, we don’t care if you pull up in a really bad shape Corvette or a brand new one that you just paid $100,000 for, you’re part of the family,” he said. “It’s more of a cultural thing.” said Mr. Lingenfelter.

From 10th-15th August, there will be many events from local radio coverage, car parades, bands, classic car cruises, the list goes on……..
