The Cheapest Fuel Drives US Holiday Weekend

Fuel is now at its lowest for a decade, giving everyone a chance to enjoy this holiday weekend and beyond, but make the most of it while it lasts.

The average price per gallon is $2.31, $.40 lower than the same time last year. This means that the 38 million Americans reported to drive over the weekend, will be able to fill up for far cheaper than before.

A recent survey done by the American Automobile Association (AAA)  found that 55% of drivers were more likely to take a trip this weekend due to the low fuel prices.
Mississippi has the lowest gas prices at $2.08 a gallon, with South Carolina and Texas being higher.

This is probably good timing, as oil prices are slowly starting to rise, with a barrel of oil above $50, so make the most of the present gas prices.
