Camaro And Monte Carlo SS Combo By Justin Watson

We receive quite a few ‘readers rides,’ but not as many where the owner documents more than one muscle car they own.
Justin sent us his fine 1988 Chevy Monte Carlo SS and 1992 Camaro Z28 to show on the website, so it over to Justin to describe his two great rides…….

‘Hi. My name is Justin Watson I’m from Marion, Ky, I follow Fast Muscle Cars everyday. There’s a lot of awesome cars y’all share hopefully you can share my two cars on your page and to the Fast Muscle Car fans. The first picture is my 1988 Chevy Monte Carlo SS Black with Tan/Saddle interior only 3,800 made in 1988 with this color combo. The second picture is my 1992 Camaro Z28 5.7L Tuned Port Injection it’s a 25th anniversary.’

‘The 1992 Chevy Camaro Z28 is a original California car and the 1988 Monte Carlo SS is a original New York car. There is a great story behind both cars and how I ended up with the best two cars that Chevrolet built in the 80’s & early 90’s. The story on the Monte Carlo SS is i found it in a corn field. A long story short I got in touch with the owner and he said he was just going to hall it off to the junk yard to get crushed just said that he was getting to old to keep it or do anything with the car. So I asked how much he wanted for it? My jaw dropped when he said $800 so I went and sold the lil 92 gas saver I was driving took him the money loaded it up on the car trailer and when I got it back home I put a new battery on it a couple tweaks on the carburetor she fired right up and boy she sounds mean lol I’v been driving it ever sense. I do have some before & after photos when I found and bought it an this is what it looks like today I’m still working on getting the hole car back in the shape when it rolled off the assembly line back in 88″ with the original Gold SS strips. I do have the factory N90 aluminum wheels that came on it new but I don’t have a clear picture to send you. I’m just glad that I saved it from being CRUSHED.’
