66 Pontiac GTO Convertible 389 Tri Power 4 Speed, shown off by one of the lovely ladies from Smoky Mountain Taders.

This is a car you just don’t see every day. It’s a factory 389 Tri Power 4 Speed Convertible with the matching numbers motor.

Under the hood it looks like it would have in ’66. It has the matching Numbers 389 Tri Power with the correct valve covers and breathers. It retains the stock manifolds with dual exhaust. It is all new and clean under the hood and believe it to be all correct. The trans is a 4 Speed with the stock rear end.

When this car was painted it was stripped to the bare body. It has all the correct sheet metal.
The body is arrow straight with the fit of the panels being very good.
Everything is covered in the Starlite Black that shows very well with a deep rich shine and is accented by the Black Top. When this car was redone the factory bumpers were took and rechromed so the numbers on the bumpers would be right. The stainless on this Goat looks very good with only the wheel opening molding being replaced. At the time of the repaint they the top and pad was installed new. The final exterior touch is new set of 18” and 20” Americans with new tires.
