Buy Annihilator Singer’s Camaro SS And Help The Band
Rock band Annihilator Singer Jeff Waters crowd funds his “Annihilator Edition” 2012 Chevrolet Camaro SS to help raise funds for the band.
If you’re a fan of old school metal in any way or a muscle car fan, this story is you.
Making money in the music industry is harder than ever, so when you operate in a tight knit music genre, you need all the help you can get. This is why the band have opted for a crowdfunding campaign to raise money for touring and future events.
Giveaways in the campaign range from autographed items such as postcards and guitar picks, but most importantly the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro SS.
There are not many details about the car apart from –
• Killer custom-installed audio system from Cerwin-Vega, including a Kenwood Excelon (DDX891HD Navigation/Receiver
• Airaid 251-243 Cold Air Intake
• Magnaflow Performance 15092 exhaust
• Jet Performance 90160 Pulley set/underdrive pulley set
• Diablosport Trinity-tuned and have used only 94 Octane fuel
• Massive & Maximum Performance Pirelli P Zero 305/35ZR20 (104Y) rear tires
• American Racing Rims / Sensors
Along with the car you get two autographed guitars and amp, two guestlist tickets for life and a chance to stay at Jeff’s home and studio.
Even if you’re not a fan of the music, this is still a sweet deal.
If you check out the details of the bottom of their campaign, you will see the amount of expense it takes to record and tour these days.
‘Flights: For example, international flights for 8 band/crew, on just a summer festival tour, can cost around $35,000. Add to this the flight costs for rehearsals in Canada, touring, one-off shows, acoustic & live DVD shoots and this adds at least $30,000 more.’
So the sale of the Camaro will go a long way to help the band.
