Is This The Best Car Chase Ever?

By  |

Many car chase scenes over the years have heralded themselves as the best ever, but could this be the one that tops the bunch?

This scene is taken from the comedy ‘Short Time’ with Dabney Coleman, Matt Frewer and Teri Garr, which features a Canadian Plymouth Gran Fury, sold there as the ‘Caravelle’ from 1978-1982. As the fender emblems were removed, it could still possibly be a US-market Gran Fury.

We are not sure if it is the best car chase scene ever, as that’s very subjective, but it does have all the elements with live-action and a good dose of comedy thrown in. You get the usual amount of tire screech, cars smashing into each other and some good old car wrecks.

Check out the video clip and see what you think.
