American vehicles are usually the first you think of when it comes to muscle cars, but Australia also has its own breed, one of them currently for sale on eBay in Dublin, Georgia.

This example is a 1968 Holden Monaro, a Bathurst GTS 327 model, one of the best of its era.
It’s kind of a cross between a Chevy Nova and a Camaro, as in 1968 Holden needed an answer to the Ford Falcon GT which was popular at the time in Australia. Thus, in the middle of 1968 the Monaro fastback was produced in three trim levels, a base model, GTS and a GTS 327 which you see here.
Inspiration obviously came from America muscle cars, but with their own ideas of what would work down under.

This one amazingly is unrestored, matching numbers and has spent the last 24 years in storage ( obviously well kept.)
It’s got a few miles on the clock with 128,000 miles, but the listing says the drivetrain was freshened up at 13,000 miles.

The car doesn’t have much time left on the listing and is currently at $15,000.
For a rarity such as this one, it is definitely worth considering.
