By 1970 The Chevy Nova had matured into a solid performing muscle car with not just loads of options, but one of the best platforms for your own customisation. There’s a reason why its still used today as the platform for some of the best strip monsters.
This 1970s version started with a 250 straight 6 and power glide transmission, but now has a 396ci / 375hp with a 4 speed muncie transmission, along with power steering and power disc brakes. The car has its original paint, but the hood has been replaced with a 2 inch cowl version and aged to look like the rest of the car.
Along with the newly dropped in engine having only done 640 miles, it has a FlowMaster 3 inch exhaust, new gas tank, new fuel and brake lines, front disc brakes and new tires. The body is said to be very solid, with only a few spots of rust here and there. The paintwork is worn down, but it sort of answer to its vintage appeal and sleeper status.
The interior looks in fine condition, with only dusty and dirty carpets to be the downside. This Nova seems to clearly be on the road to be a nice sleeper car and as all Novas should be, solid and dependable.
