Now the Dodge Charger Hellcat is a few years old, you’re starting to see examples pop-up on the second-hand market with various levels of mileage. This one comes in B5 Blue Pearl with 26,000 mile on the clock. It maybe a four-door, but this shouldn’t put you off its muscle car pedigree.
With both the Hellcat Charger and Challenger clearly it is the supercharged engine that is its biggest draw. 376.3ci/6,166 cc, a supercharger capable of 11.6 psi of boost and a total horse power rating of 707HP and and 650 lb·ft of torque make this car one of the most potent muscle cars ever made.
All seems reasonable fine about this Charger – until the ad. states that the car will possibly need a repaint as it was a repo. and look like it has been keyed all over. This is hard to tell from the supplied images, but the seller is upfront with this point and does say that they have attempted to spray the hood with Black Plasti-Dip and it had some form of respray since, but possibly not up to par. This can obviously be a big deciding factor, so the vehicle will need a close-up inspection before deciding on a final buy.
The repaint could be the deciding factor here, so it’s the judgement of if you think the asking price of $48,250.00 and factoring in a new respray is worth it for this example. Check out the images and see what you think.
