1967 Camaro SS 350 Project Car

Here we have a 1967 Camaro SS 350 which on first looks is reminiscent of being half submerged in a lake for the last 40 years. Luckily, this seems to be just surface rust and with an asking price of $9,100 this Camaro may be an ideal project over the winter months.

Being a 67 model and an SS makes this Camaro that bit more interesting with an L48 350 V8. You don’t get much detail in the listing apart from the damage being mostly ‘mechanical’ and without close-up shots it’s hard to tell how deep the rust actually goes. The engine bay looks solid, but very dusty and just like the interior will need a complete overhaul. It’s presumed that the engine is non-running as with the automatic transmission.

There’s definitely a few parts provided in the interior of the car, which is a bonus but how many are usable is also questionable. If you factor in the current bid of $9,100 and according to Hagerty an example in condition #1 would fetch $48,800 this vehicle may be worth shortlisting. What do you guys think?
