1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 X33 Complete Restoration

When you come across a vehicle such as this one, your heart lifts and sinks at the same time. an original 69 Camaro Z/28, but in terrible condition.
No wonder the seller put up just the grille as the featured image.

The car is available for you to buy now on Ebay. at a current bid of $5,250.00.

The car obviously needs a complete restoration, but the ad. says the chassis is solid, it’s just the rust everywhere else. that’s the problem.

The car doesn’t come with a drivetrain, but it is supplied with 1 NOS quarter panel, which is at least one bonus.

Viewing the images you can see that someone has attempted some restoration with the rear fender missing, but it does give some clear indication of the internal work needed.

Interiors seats and dash seem intact, but just like the exterior, everything will need to be stripped down and rebuilt.

If you consider other 1969 Camaro Z/28 X33 examples such as this one going for just shy of $50,000,
would you get much change from a full restoration?

There seems to be some ‘bits’ in the trunk to get you started on a restoration journey and in the right hands this Camaro could be brought back to life, but obviously be prepared for some very long hours to get this one back in shape.
