1967 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Lynndale Blue Black/White 427

We don’t usually feature many rolling cars on here without the drivetrain, simply because cars in a bare bone condition can quite easily spiral out of control with the budget on restoration, but this one may have some potential.
This 1967 Corvette Convertible is said to have a ‘Very Rare Lynndale Blue with a Black/White interior.’ With a 427 engine, maybe a very rare specimen.
The ad. says it has the trim and VIN tags and the car was flared and converted to a road race car some years ago. it also may possibly be a 427 with side pipes, but the present owner says they do not have any documentation to prove this.
The frame has some extra holes which may be for Hooker pipes and has small triangles welded in a few places to stiffen the frame.
The listing seems to come with a few ‘bits’ as shown in the photo, so the question is for the asking price is this worth it?
A quick look on Hagerty and online show that a ’67 Corvette Stingray’s can go for anything from low $50k – $169,000 as in this example in Elkhart Blue
So really this listing is down to having to check this vehicle out in person, perform your due diligence on the documentation available and see if this is a restoration project worth your while.
You never know, fully restored and in show condition, you just may make a buck or two, but you will have your work cut out for you.
