Kook Alert For Quirky Custom Builds

I am not sure how many of you have seen this car but when I did I had to save it. It will remind me when I am down in the dumps or angry with my collection to pull this picture out.

I guess this guy took a Road Runner and made a El ca road charo. I bet it was no easy task to build this car and I am sure the owner is proud of himself. But, I am not. Yes, his building abilities are impressive and his workmanship looks good but to ruin a Road Runner is a crime.

With the same effort and ability he could have built a real RR and be one of us. Now, he is one of them. What is them? Them is the silent club that builds “other” types of cars that are a bit out there. It’s a very limited market so he better want to keep this forever. It’s a niche car and we all know niche cars have limited love. That is part of the issue with the crazy rat rod craze. You love it but when you tire of it, who else will love it? Jeepers Peepers please think this through.
