My Wheelchair Friendly 1967 Camaro By Greg Niedzielski
If you have a physical disability, muscle cars shouldn’t be out of your reach. With enough willpower and tenacity, anything’s possible. This is exactly what Greg Niedzielski did with his ’67 Camaro.
‘I’d like to share my wheelchair friendly 1967 Camaro daily driver with a 454 and 4.56 gears. Driven with motorcycle twist throttle hand controls year round in Michigan.’
‘It was a drag race car I bought 5 years ago. I spent about 6 months using every free second and penny I had to get it street’able.’
‘An entire new interior, replaced the fuel cell with a factory tank, trunk sheet metal, pulled the 550 horse Chevy 302 and put a 454 in it, replaced the factory 327 fender emblems with a 454 from a Corvette.
‘A complete front suspension and disc brake conversion, HID headlights with red LED halos, MSD 6al.’
‘I kept the 4.56 gears and traded the TH350 for a 700R4, motorcycle twist throttle and suicide knob controls. Edelbrock everything (just about), fiberglass hood and no rust for a Michigan daily driver. Everything works.’
